Herohero fees in 2026: what you keep and when Fanobi leaves you more

Figures checked on 27 September 2026 from Herohero's and Fanobi's published price lists and terms for a new creator (default plan, default payout). Prices can change at any time; each platform's official page is authoritative: Herohero's page on fees and taxes and the Fanobi price list.

Herohero fees are simple: 10 % of every payment plus VAT on that 10 %. For a creator in the Czech Republic who is not a VAT payer, that makes 12.1 %. With 25 subscribers at 20 EUR a month you earn 500 EUR, and Herohero leaves you 439.50 EUR of it.

Once you earn more than about 250 EUR a month, Fanobi leaves you more money, and the gap widens with every subscriber you add. At 2 000 EUR a month, Fanobi Ultimate leaves you more than 1 500 EUR a year extra.

Herohero fees: 10 % plus VAT on every payment

Herohero charges one commission of 10 % on every payment. VAT is added on top of that commission, and at the Czech rate of 21 % the total comes to 12.1 %. There is no monthly fee and no fee for payouts.

Herohero pays out once a month, on the first business day.

What 12.1 % adds up to over a year

On a single 20 EUR payment the fee is 2.42 EUR, which hardly seems worth a thought. Add up twelve months and it looks different. At 500 EUR a month, Herohero keeps 60.50 EUR every month, which is 726 EUR a year. At 2 000 EUR a month it keeps 242 EUR a month, or 2 904 EUR a year.

The rate also doesn't drop as you grow. Double your subscribers and you double what you pay Herohero, because the same 12.1 % applies to the first euro and to the ten-thousandth.

How Fanobi charges: a fixed plan price and a lower commission

On Fanobi you can start on the Free plan with no monthly price at all. Once your income grows, a paid plan gives you a commission lower than Herohero's, from 9 % down to 3 %, for a fixed monthly price.

The plan price stays the same whether you earn 300 EUR or 3 000 EUR a month. Only the commission grows with your income, and on Ultimate it is just 3 %.

You don't have to deal with VAT on your subscriptions. Fanobi adds it on top of the price you set and pays it for you.

Same 20 EUR subscription, more money on Fanobi

This is what a Czech creator who is not a VAT payer keeps each month, selling subscriptions at 20 EUR. On Fanobi, that is after paying for the plan, VAT included.

At 2 000 EUR a month, Ultimate leaves you 127.00 EUR more than Herohero every month, which is 1 524.00 EUR a year. At 5 000 EUR the difference grows to 356.50 EUR a month, or 4 278.00 EUR a year.

Which Fanobi plan fits your income

Pick the plan by what you earn. Every plan includes every feature, so the right one is simply the one that leaves you the most money.

• Free has no monthly price at all. You pay only a 15 % commission on what you sell, so it is the easy way to start and build your audience without any fixed cost.
• Basic pays off first, from about 250 EUR a month, and is the best choice up to about 350 EUR.
• Pro takes over from about 350 EUR a month and stays ahead up to about 500 EUR.
• Ultimate is the best choice from about 500 EUR a month, and its lead over the other plans keeps growing with your income.

The plans also differ in how many subscription tiers you can run: one on Free, up to 3 on Basic, up to 10 on Pro and as many as you like on Ultimate.

• Tips from anyone who visits your page, even without joining or subscribing.

A subscriber who pays you 20 EUR a month may also buy your e-book or unlock a video. That is extra income from people who already trust you, without growing your audience.

Charge your audience in koruna

Herohero lets you set your price only in EUR or USD. On Fanobi you price in CZK, EUR, USD, PLN or HUF, so your audience pays in the currency they actually use. You also choose the currency you are paid out in.

Your content and your community in one place

Everything lives on your own page, with your photo, banner, description and links to up to 15 social profiles.

• Posts with text, photos, videos, files and polls. Each one can be public, for members, for subscribers of a chosen tier, or paid.
• Articles, videos and podcasts with cover images, categories, free teasers and scheduled publishing. Podcasts carry episode and season numbers, and every new piece also appears as a post on your page.

The credit is not paid out as money. It goes toward your own Fanobi costs: first your plan, and whatever remains lowers the commission on your earnings, so more of your income reaches your payout.

The creator you recommend gets a 60-day trial instead of the usual 30, which gives them two months to set up and win their first members.
